In case you missed it, Ebony Magazine posted a piece about passport stamps being the new bag test. I have written and deleted five different post sharing my opinion. I've read the article twice and can definately see where the writer was going. However, it still came off a bit " let me put you in your place". I learned a long time ago that just because you are offended, does not mean you are right. Comparing race relations and historical policies to the percieved divisons brought on by black travel is creative, but I'm not sure how accurate it is. In my opinion, all the Hashtaging, Instagram posts, and travel tribes are building bridges and breaking barriers more than they are creating boundries.
